Meet The TeamI recently had the unfortunate experience of a contractual agreement as a landlord with Sunflower Lettings Sevenoaks, and I must say that it was nothing short of a disappointment. Despite being paid a considerable amount for their full management services, Sunflower Lettings Sevenoaks failed to fulfil even the most basic responsibilities associated with full property management. From the outset, communication was a major issue. It often took days to get a response to emails or phone calls, and when a response was finally received, it was vague and lacked any real substance. This lack of communication extended to crucial matters such as property maintenance and addressing tenant concerns. It felt like once Sunflower Lettings Sevenoaks had secured their payment, they had little interest in maintaining an open line of communication or providing quality service per the tenancy agreement. One of the most frustrating aspects of this experience was the apparent neglect of property maintenance. Despite being explicitly contracted to oversee the property's upkeep, Sunflower Lettings Sevenoaks allowed issues to persist without any attempt at resolution. This not only led to tenant dissatisfaction but also had a negative impact on the property's overall value. Furthermore, when confronted about these issues, Sunflower Lettings Sevenoaks displayed a concerning lack of accountability. Instead of taking responsibility for their shortcomings, they shifted blame onto external factors or made empty promises without any follow-through. This lack of transparency and accountability only deepened my dissatisfaction with their services. The way in which the tenants were allowed to leave my home was indescribable. My home was left with filthy dirty stained carpets throughout the house which were not cleanable, mould on all the windows and windowsills and even after a deep clean the evidence of mould was still visible, the garden had not been maintained the beds turned to grass beds, hedges two meters taller, the gutters not clean or free from leaves (all outlined in the tenancy agreement). None of the legally binding terms of the contract were adhered to by the tenants. The deposit money was not held back by Sunflower Lettings Sevenoaks and I was made to make good my home with both the managing agent Sunflower Lettings Sevenoaks and the tenants getting away scott free. There was no property expertise in this letting agreement which I had with them for 5 years. In conclusion, my experience with Sunflower Lettings Sevenoaks was highly disappointing. The lack of communication, failure to address maintenance concerns, and incompetence in the management of my property were all indicative of a property agent who failed to fulfil their contractual obligations. I would strongly advise against engaging the services of Sunflower Lettings Sevenoaks for anyone seeking a reliable and professional property management experience. ..
